  • Bravo!! We had a great day! “Family fun and serious grass roots engagement about Rapid City’s future. The event was free.
    Thanks for the puppet show–Sue Hey and Leonard Running. Thanks Mollie O Krafka and Heather Krafka Rederth for sharing your children's book. Thanks HS students and Donna Robinson for displays and activities.

    Thanks to 8 subcommittees (Education, Water, Recycling, Energy, Land Use, Transportation, Local Food, and Natural Assets –parks, wildlife, etc) for displays and lots of public interaciton.  Thanks to members of the Green Future Task Force are Roger Hall, Eirik Heikes, Suzanne Martley, Jessica Miller, Timothy Roach, Cynthia Matson, Aaron Sanders.
     
    Thaks to Mayor Hanks for his greetings and City Council member Patti Martinson for listening to citizens.

    Thanks for the recycled art fashion show by Black Hills State University art students sponsored by Fierce Modeling Agency, Planet Hair, Black Hills State University and the Rapid City Arts Council. What fun!!

    Snacks, including cheese by Black Hills Milk, buffalo hors d'oeuvres by Jill Maguire of Wild Idea Buffalo Company and grass fed beek by 34 Ranch Meats.
