Watching how a candidate fields questions tells us something about breadth of knowledge, attention to citizen concerns and personal agendas. If we don't ask, they won't or can't tell! Getting candidates on the record with citizen questioning is a critical pre-election function.

•DIA hosts a pre-election forum for School Board Area 1 & Area 2 Candidates Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in the Cafeteria of South Middle School from 7-9:00 p.m. The first hour will be candidates answering DIA questions conveyed to them in advance. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates during the second hour. Here are the questions DIA sent to all candidates.
