Mission: Promoting excellence in education to grow our economy, increase opportunity and enhance the quality of life in Rapid City. Our Rapid City Schools was launched to make it easier for parents and community members to get the information they need about our schools.
You can visit the site frequently to see what's happening or you can subscribe to get email alerts when articles are posted. There's community blog/forum for your input plus a great feature: links to FAQs on budget, low-range planning, test scores and citizen group findings. School board candidate profiles coming soon.
The more people who subscribe and contribute the better, says founder Eric Abrahamson, education advocate and a former RC board member.
